What method of application do you use?

We use a hair extension technology that causes virtually no damage to your existing hair. We use no glue, waxes, keratin bonds or weaving, but rather a small micro cylinder that are expertly linked and pressed to a small amount of your existing hair, minimizing any breakage and stress your hair, as they are flexible and move with your natural hair.

This micro cylinder link is the original designed and is only exclusive to through AmoreHair, there are many imitations on the market today, but never superior.

How many hair extensions will I need?

How many hair extensions you will need depends on what you want wither it be for thicker or longer hair and the size of your head. Your accredited AmoreHair technician will be able to advise you on what is best for you.

How do I look after my hair extensions at home?

When brushing your hair extensions hold sections at the nape of the neck to prevent stress to the scalp and use a wooden bristle tek brush. Tek flexible bristles are perfect as they don’t catch on to the micro cylinders.

Your hair extensions must be separated at the roots regularly (every few days and more often attachment points grow away from the scalp). Run your fingers down along the scalp and between AmoreHair, separating any tangled hair.

Always loosely plait your hair while sleeping, Swimming, exercising or involved with activities likely to tangle your hair. You may prefer to shampoo your hair while plaited (Two plaits easiest) to reduce tangling.

Sleeping on a satin pillowcase is highly recommended to reduce tangles.

The first time you’re fitted with your new AmoreHair...It’s essential to revisit your AmoreHair accredited stylist within the first week of wear for your complimentary visit when your stylist will assess how your new hair is going, make any adjustments needed and enable you to ask any questions there may be.

At this complimentary visit … your AmoreHair accredited stylist will be able to recommend your future care regime including how often you’ll need to return for ‘refusions’ ( removal and re-attachment of AmoreHair) Refusion periods vary from 1-2 months approx (+/-) and depend on many factors, including strength and quality of your own hair, your new hairstyle and your lifestyle.
